Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in our community. Your primary duties will include cleaning, laundering, and ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and presentable.

Duties:

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility including resident rooms, public and resident restrooms, showers and bathing areas in a tidy, hygienic germ free manner, following housekeeping policies and infection control standards. Removes trash from all areas.
• Complete resident discharges and prepares room for next admission.
• Show knowledge on the use and dilution of all Housekeeping chemicals used in department and applies that knowledge to various cleaning tasks assigned.
• Operate and care for all Housekeeping equipment assigned, including vacuum, housekeeping cart, carpet cleaning machines and other housekeeping equipment.
• Stock all areas assigned with the proper amount of supplies (i.e. soap, paper towels, toilet paper) for residents and the public to use. Checks and rechecks public areas to maintain a safe and clean environment for our visitors and guests.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
• Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects assigned.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
