Job Description

The Office Clerk plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing office. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the office, including data entry, record-keeping, scheduling, and coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry tasks, updating records, databases, and spreadsheets with accurate information.
  • Manage and maintain filing systems, including organizing and archiving documents.
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments, including meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries from employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders as necessary.
  • Assist with invoice processing and accounts payable/receivable tasks as required.
  • Support the HR team with administrative tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
  • Assist with organizing company events and activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or electrical products environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, copiers).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
