Description & Requirements

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking General helpers to work at our Rectangle Cup production area in Mason- OH. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated- fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards. Currently hiring for third shift (10:30pm-6:30am)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second- third & weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Outstanding attendance record.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and adhere to Quality standards.
  • Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment- to be administered after receiving a passing interview score

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday- 10:30 pm - 6:30 am - variable based on assigned work

Overtime is possible and will be either 4 hours before or after the regular shift

Job Overview:

Are your ready to join a high-energy- fast-paced team of dedicated operators who help to produce nearly 190 million lbs. of your favorite sauces every year?

As a liquid pouch operator you’ll be a part of a dedicated team packaging anything from mustard to relish for 1000s of consumers.

Responsibilities & Duties:

May include- but isn’t limited to:

  • Operating filling equipment; making minor machine adjustments.
  • Performs packaging of finished product packages.
  • Making corrugated boxes and partitions.
  • Packing finished merchandise in boxes.
  • Sealing cases with tape gun or tape machine.
  • Labeling finished cases with proper identification.
  • Placing finished cases on pallets using pre-determined case placements.
  • Monitoring merchandise cases to insure proper weight and accurate packaging components.
  • Monitoring machine scrap and follow scrap procedures.
  • Ensuring accurate hourly machine counts so that visual boards can be filled out correctly.
  • Monitoring and reacting to visual board information.
  • Cleaning and rinsing equipment during change overs.
  • Assisting with machine start-ups.
  • Keeping work area and station clean at all times.
  • Labeling sides and ends of boxes and place stickers or other identifying information as requested by particular customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in a GMP/regulated industry is a plus!
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stay cool and calm under pressure and balance changing priorities with ease.
  • Outstanding attendance record.
  • Focus on safety with a history of practicing safe work habits.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and adhere to Quality standards.
