Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the required standards of quality, performance, and reliability before they reach our customers. You will play a critical role in maintaining our commitment to quality by inspecting materials, components, and finished products.
3rd shift - 11pm start time
Available to interview and start immediately!!!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test products at various stages of production (incoming materials, in-process production, and final products).
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections using precise measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ensure products meet industry and internal standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation.
- Identify and report non-conforming products or processes.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues.
- Recommend improvements in production processes to enhance quality.
- Perform root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Quality Control or related field preferred.
- Experience in quality inspection, quality control, or a related role.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of industry standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
