Gale Toyota is a family owned and operated full service Toyota dealership in Northern Connecticut serving the Hartford,CT and Springfield MA area

Since 1969. We are currently looking for a part time, experienced bookkeeper with automotive experience to join our team. In this position you will interact with Office, Sales, and Service team members as necessary to accomplish daily tasks.

The ideal candidate would have the necessary skills and previous automation dealership work experience in accomplishing multiple accounting tasks. Reporting to the controller, these skills and previous experience would include, but are not limited to:

Excellent time management and communication skills

Strong mathematical skills and knowledge

Proficient experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

Deal breakdown and Registration processing

Booking in new and used vehicles

Title processing

Processing bank deposits, deal funding, incentives, rebates

Previous Toyota/Lexus dealership experience is a plus. Compensation will be based on experience. Job opportunity is currently Part Time with flexible hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)
