Summary

Braintree Group, LLC, a privately held, vertically integrated, national real estate development and investment firm, based in Boise, ID, is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Accounts Payable Specialist within our expanding hospitality division. The A/P Specialist role will own all accounts payable functions for multiple hotel properties and will work directly with our hotel staff to ensure timely and accurate payments are remitted.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review, code, and post daily invoices.
  • Monitor recurring invoices to ensure payments are on time and remain in good standing.
  • Reconcile monthly company benefits and other account statements in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and clear day-to-day electronic payments made to vendors.
  • Troubleshoot invoice discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare weekly aging reports and perform check runs.
  • Prepares and distributes required IRS form 1099s on an annual basis.
  • Monitors vendor W-9 form submissions.
  • Assist with routine month-end closing processes such as collecting, posting and/or accruing missing invoices.
  • Assist with various accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 0-3 years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
  • Associates Degree in accounting preferred
  • M3 and Sage Intacct accounting system experience preferred.
