We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist based at our corporate headquarters in Sheboygan, WI supporting our multi-state operations.
Location - Sheboygan, WI
Vista Care is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process with accuracy and efficiency. As an integral member of our team, you will ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, maintain vendor records, reconcile statements, and support month-end close activities. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Obtain proper approvals for payment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues related to invoices and payments.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for accounts payable operations.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
