Job Description

Responsible for processing source data/documents while performing routine accounting tasks. Under general supervision performs duties and responsibilities listed.

Responsibilities and Duties

· General accounting duties as assigned

· Accounts Receivable duties including posting cash receipts, reviewing the accounts receivable aging report and reconciling customer accounts

· Reconcile bank accounts to the general ledger

· Assist in month-end closing procedures

· Assist in inventory management

· Assist with creating and maintaining department process documentation

· Special projects as required

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience using Sage Software is preferred but not required
• Self-motivated, fast-learner, organized, detail-oriented, and who enjoys working in an environment of complete team collaboration
• Excellent communication skills, with an inquisitive ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems
• Capability to perform a variety of calculations, verifications, postings, and reconciliations of accounting records
• Independently problem solves within payroll and accounting application and/or defined situations
• The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• A positive attitude and desire to succeed independently with a cross-functional team
