Job Description

The mission of Sunburst Farms Irrigation District is the delivery of water to the members it serves in an equitable manner within the capabilities of the irrigation district.

The Irrigation District was formed by the original land developer, Thomas E Breen, in 1967 and later continued by Hallcraft Homes as a company whose purpose was to provide irrigation and agricultural services to the homeowners in the Sunburst Farms project.

Each owner of a Sunburst Farm has an interest in the company that supplies the irrigation water and bridle path maintenance. To date, there are approximately 645 farms consisting of one or multiple-acre parcels covering 828 acres.

The Irrigation District owns two pump sites, two pumps, two wells and a water distribution system consisting of an underground line network of concrete and PVC pipe with alfalfa valves at each lot.

We are presently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our team.

Representative duties include:

· Cash receipts, banking, including deposits

· Application and collection of liens

· Billing, statements and inserts, stuffing bills.

· Purchasing office supplies and tracking office expenditures

· Drafting agendas, notices and minutes as required by the Board of Directors, within the time required by State Statutes, to include Regular, Special and Committee meetings.

· Submit all required reports to County, State and Federal requirements for Board Members

· Administrative functions, including correspondence and reports

· Upload a variety of files, already prepared, to our websites - line schedules, agendas, minutes, financials, etc.

· Send group emails for any scheduling changes and agendas (the group email is already setup)

· Post updates to our Facebook page, as needed.

· Handle email, messages left on recorder, mail and phone calls

· Manage phone, computer and other systems

· Work with CPA or accountant regarding financials and annual reviews.

Qualifications:

· Ability to work with QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and word processing programs such as Excel and MS Word

· Experience with updating websites including Facebook

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
