A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Administrative Assistant in Whitestone, NY 11357. The Admin Assistant would be working for a health care and pharmaceutical organization and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Administrative Assistant Compensation & Highlights

  • Hourly Pay: $25.00 per hour, paid biweekly
  • The required availability for this position is 9am-5:30pm M-F
  • Target start date: 09/30/2024
    • This position is a W2 contract assignment with potential for extension or conversion based on attendance, performance, and business needs. Currently scheduled through 12/31/2024.
  • Location: ONSITE in Whitestone, NY 11357
  • SUMMARY: Office Services Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of clerical activities in support of their work teams in accordance with standard procedures. This includes clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and distributing mail. Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

  • General administrative day-to-day office responsibilities including, screening phone calls, scanning, mail sorting, copying, overnight shipping, correspondence and file maintenance, etc.
  • Handle confidential matters with proper discretion.
  • Oversees documents for employee signature and proper follow-through.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects as needed
  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
  • Works on basic and routine assignments
  • Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines
  • Work is closely managed and follows details instructions
  • Seeks regular guidance and advice from supervisor

Administrative Assistant Requirements:

  • EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years of admin work
  • Education: High school diploma / GED - Required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and email
  • Organization skills is a must, with great time management
  • Can operate a printer, scan and apply naming conventions to documents
