Description/Job Summary:

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Administrative Assistant III . The Space Management Check-In and Move/Add/Change queue shall be manned at the Government site located at the Naval Weapons Station Charleston. The normal operating hours, 0700 to 1600 must have at a minimum three (3) years of O&M/Facilities Management type experience, with at least 2 years updating and operating the CMMS system (within the past seven years).

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Maintains accurate accountability of all personnel Checking in and Checking out of the Command
  • Follows local guidance and FAR regulations
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers via email and phone
  • Daily checks for the queue for service ticket requests and sign offs
  • Submit bi-monthly reports to the government on executed moves, Check-ins, and Checkouts
  • Track seat assignments to include initial seat assignments for new employees, personnel relocations within and between facilities, and validations of seat assignments for existing space occupants. The contractor shall update records weekly to reflect government, military, and contractor checkouts
  • Strong experience in updating, operating and maintaining a facility CMMS system
  • CMMS experience should include knowledge of entering work orders, running reports, updating and operating the facilities system to ensure the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly Operation & maintenance and Custodial duties. Duties include, but are not limited to, setting up new users, removing users, and updating the CMMS System to include any new requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of facilities management disciplines, service contracts
  • Broad-based understanding of CMMS, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Capable of independent decision-making, and be able to function with no supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with strong leadership, project management, team building, and presentation skills required.
  • Customer service experience

  • Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Two (2) years administrative experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and database entry
  • Secret Clearance Required
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred experience & Skils:

  • Government agency experience with a clearance

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or GED.
