Job Description

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Aftermarket Repair Planning Analyst. This position is based at our Jackson, MS facility.


The Jackson facility has approximately 500 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.


The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

This position is primarily responsible for the planning, scheduling and ordering of production commodities as assigned. The Aftermarket Repair Planning Analyst will be required to analyze and interpret a variety of reports and other related factors to allow timely and economical completion of supplier commitments in support of customer delivery requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the planning team and use multiple strategies to recover components for customer orders (Q70 Waiting Parts Reduction).
  • Surplus Process - purchase and manage the planning of surplus inventory to support our bank exchange process.
  • Review Repair Components for a need to rework and help develop a repair process for the components.
  • Salvage components from other orders to reduce the lead time of customer orders.
  • Work with Quality on the Orange Card Process; transact the items that have been rejected to inspection locations.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Supply Chain OR bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 60 miles of the Jackson, MS facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Thorough knowledge of aerospace industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP (e.g., MFG Pro or Kinaxis).
  • APICS Certification.
