Optomi, in partnership with our large hospitality client, are seeking a highly skilled Akamai Onboarding Lead to join their team and address the increasing demand for Akamai onboarding support across various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the onboarding process of domains onto Akamai, ensuring all configurations are correctly set up and optimized for public-facing URLs.
• Utilize your advanced knowledge of Akamai to handle complex onboarding tasks, including configuring domains, origins, and any necessary integrations.
• Provide support to other teams as needed, including digital, security, and other departments requiring Akamai expertise.
• Use Akamai property manager tools and Akamai Security Center to manage and monitor the performance and security of onboarded domains.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges related to the Akamai onboarding process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Must Have Skills and Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Akamai, including onboarding domains, configuring settings, and utilizing Akamai tools.
• Proven experience working with enterprise-level clients, particularly in hospitality or e-commerce domains.
• Deep understanding of Akamai's functionalities and the ability to effectively manage and push content through Akamai.
• Strong experience in getting domains onboarded onto Akamai, with a solid grasp of the process and best practices.
• Familiarity with Akamai property manager and Akamai Security Center, and experience using these tools in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience working in a senior engineering or technical role focused on Akamai onboarding.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and provide support.
