Job Description

The Coordinator for the Community Team will support the Event Manager and Social Media Manager and help to develop an in real-life community at events and a digital community on our social platforms. The role will help these managers execute against their channel plans to successfully bring the brand to life and build the Altra community. You’ll assist in executing of events, athlete and content creator activations, monitoring and supporting social media activity, reporting on competitive activity, and distributing shoes and kits to our community.

How You Will Make a Difference
EVENTS

Coordinate and plan the execution of events that are run out of head office and then be the face of the brand at these events.

Recap each event so we can learn from every opportunity.

Work with the Sports Marketing Manager to identify new event opportunities, manage budgets of existing events and find new ways of bringing the brand to life and building community within run culture.

SOCIAL

Actively monitoring Altra running fans sub social media accounts and delivering monthly report of community sentiment

Assign audience product questions or complaints to the Customer Service Team through the Sprinklr platform

Social listening on Sprinklr—what is the running community discussing? Where can we jump in and provide insight?

Help identify new content creators and own the relationship with them.

Assisting community manager in social media replies across all channels in messages, comments and inquiries .

OVERALL

Work with social and sports marketing manager to identify and coordinate athlete and content creator story telling.

Fulfill athlete and content creator shoe + gear requests

Work with producer to move along contracts for athletes, influencers, and other community partnerships.

Create creative requests in Wrike and track project through execution for both social and events.

Create PO’s and support the budget management across social and events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in marketing and project management a plus

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to navigate software such as PM (Wrike) software, DAM software tools, Excel/Google Sheets, Coupa, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Understanding of creative processes

Experience operating and reporting a yearly budget

Experience partnering with team leaders and cross departmental partners

Hiring Range : $56,160.00 USD - $70,200.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
