Job Description

The Amazon & E-Commerce Specialist will manage the company's Amazon seller account and other e-commerce platforms and product listings. They will work with the ITR team to strategize and implement ways to increase product sales and reach new customers.

This is a full-time position, and candidates must live within commuting distance of Chesterfield, OH. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that is growing, driven, and detail-oriented. They must take the time to understand the products and the customer demographics who use them. They will exercise good judgment in various situations and must be organized and adaptable to shifting company needs.

Responsibilities

-Learn about the brand, products, and customers and find opportunities to reach new customers and digital markets, and work with the team to conduct extensive marketing research to stay on top of recent trends and gain ideas to target new audiences effectively.

-Work with the team to pioneer and create new opportunities with e-commerce accounts, create strategies and implement ways to increase product sales and reach new customers digitally.

-Conduct keyword research to create lists of keywords that will cater to the right audiences.

-Maintain and update product spec sheets for accuracy.

eCommerce Responsibilities:

-Responsible for monitoring buyer/ seller messages on seller accounts.

-Ensure adherence to product brand guidelines and product spec and description accuracy across all online channels, including outside vendors and e-commerce resellers, and help develop relevant Brand MAP policies for product resellers.

-Optimize product listings, descriptions, and images for current and future product launches.

-Monitor inventory on e-commerce platforms.

-Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports analyzing sales performance across all company e-commerce platforms and identifying areas for improvement.

-Utilize google ads and the meta business suite to generate traffic for e-commerce platforms.

Amazon Responsibilities:

-Brand Enforcement:

Using all of Amazon’s tools, including Brand Registry, to remove unauthorized resellers of products, correct inaccurate product information, and merge and reduce duplications of product listings. Execute merges between duplicate listings. Create and manage cases with Amazon Support to resolve content and operations issues.

-Audit, optimize, and create product listings within the Amazon platform. Enhance product listings and storefront with additional visual and text content to improve customer experience – A+ content, Amazon Posts, etc.

-Stay up to date with all things Amazon Marketing within Seller Central, such as Amazon Advertising, AMS, AMG, DSP, Best Deals, Lightning Deals, Coupons, Cross-Promotions, etc. Perform keyword discovery and competitor analysis to aid with advertising strategy. Execute advertising campaigns on Amazon after collaborating with the team on strategies and budget allocation. Provide monthly Ad performance reports.

-Communicate any Amazon policy changes and ensure compliance in internal operations.

-Maintain the buy box on all product listings. Manage all inventory and create shipment reports for FBA fulfillment.

-Monitor all customer feedback and reviews on the seller account and product listings.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, sales, or related fields, or 5+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Amazon seller account management.
  • 3+ years of Digital Marketing and E-commerce experience in a product-centric role.

Required Skills:

  • Eagerness to learn about the brand and products.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon seller central, Amazon listings, and Amazon's policies and
  • Experience with Amazon SEO, A+ content, and advertising.
  • In-depth knowledge of Amazon and eCommerce trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and experience utilizing performance data to make decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, time management, accountability, and self-motivation.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using e-Commerce platforms such as Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, etc.
  • Understanding of Meta Business Suite and Google Ads.
