We are looking for a Customer Service Rep with a can-do, proactive, and thoughtful attitude. The welcome experience you provide to customers is crucial. It sets the tone for what customers can expect from you, and it goes a long way toward determining whether they stay with the Eilander Agency of American Family Insurance.
The Eilander Agency is a casual workplace. You will enjoy flexibility and working independently. You will learn from AmFam’s virtual training classes, and you will receive on-the-job training.
Licensing is not required to be hired but does limit your hours to part-time due to the state regulations imposed on a non-licensed staff member.
Non-Licensed Agency Staff duties:
· Accept a premium payment for an existing policy.
· Telephone, email, or text to schedule/confirm customer appointments.
· Answer incoming phone calls, check text messages, and forward to the appropriate person.
· Refer all sales, solicitation, and negotiation questions to licensed staff.
· Prepare and send mailings as directed.
· Data entry.
· Electronic office filing.
· Inform customers of existing coverages on their policies as indicated in the company’s records and refer any questions to licensed staff.
· Special projects as assigned.
There is an expectation that you become licensed within six-months. Agency reimbursement is available. Once licensed the scope of work is widened to include quoting, discussing coverage, advising customers, and more detailed customer service tasks. Hours will increase and you will qualify for performance bonuses.

Pay: $15.25 - $15.75 per hour
