What You’ll Do

We are seeking an Application Support Developer to provide help desk services for several applications by assisting our customers with any issues or questions and to support our software development team with software maintenance and updates.

We expect you to:

• Offer first-line support for application-related issues, serving as the go-to person for both internal teams and external customers.
• Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with software developers to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Write T-SQL queries to run ad hoc data reports for internal users.
• Develop scripts, tools, and utilities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline application support processes.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and technical solutions.
• Participate in the testing and deployment of software updates, patches, and new releases.
• Perform minor bug fixes and assist in maintaining the overall health of applications.
• Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date and is clear for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Our requirements for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in a customer service/support role.
• Experience in application support or software development.
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work on multiple, different tasks while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with the following technologies is required:
  • C# and VB.NET
  • Visual Studio
  • T-SQL
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
