Position Purpose
Assist in providing cultural resource management services for KLJ projects in a timely, accurate, and cost effective manner.
Essential Functions
- Compliant with KLJ quality standards
- Complete field-work under supervision of the project manager or supervisor
- Assist with lab analysis of artifacts
- Assist with record searches
- Assist with creating and coordinating reports, documents and other data
- Utilize effective written and oral communication
Responsibilities
- May begin to assist with Federal and State Agency coordination
- Assist with pedestrian inventory, site testing and reports
- Provide project correspondence, records and field notes
- Completion of site forms
- Participate in meetings
Qualifications
- Either have a four year degree or be working towards a four year degree in anthropology, archaeology, history or a related field
- Must have completed an archaeological Field School
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
Preferences:
- GIS background is desired

Hours and Travel
This position requires the individual work 40 or more hours per week with 95% of the time spent in the field and 5% of the time is spent in the office.
