The Assembler II will focus on the manufacturing and assembly of IGT's electronic gaming machines within our slot machine, sub-assembly, used manufacturing, or lottery production areas. In this position, the Assembler will handle various products using a combination of hand and power tools. Though many tasks are routine, precision and attention to detail are paramount, as your responsibilities directly influence our short-term production efficiency. You’ll be guided by specific, well-defined procedures and will be expected to identify and correct any deviations or assembly errors. For any non-routine challenges, support and guidance are available from our experienced senior team members.
- Execute assigned, highly routine assembly tasks, which impact short-term production operations, particularly production efficiency.
- Recognize deviations from highly routine practices and take prescribed next steps.
- Bolt, clip, screw, and fasten parts together.
- Utilize hand tools in assembly operations.
- Follow manufacturing process documentation.
- Document completion of production processes.
- Identify and correct configuration and assembly errors.
- Operate within the context of well-defined procedures for the production lines.
- Escalate non-routine operating issues or requests to gain cooperation of senior members of the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a security background investigation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English required.
- Must be able to stand for full shift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to use computer in reading build requirements.
- Ability to interpret and understand manufacturing process instructions.
