Overview: Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Requires use of a few simple hand tools. Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and less than one year of training and/or experience. Frequently reports to an Assembly Supervisor or Production Supervisor. Responsibilities:
- Assemble frame parts.
- Responsible for the assembly and preparation of product to be shipped.
- Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 40 pounds as needed for production.
- Assemble parts using appropriate hand tools such air guns, power drills and screw drivers.
- Clean parts and finished models to remove residues.
- Ensure the safety and productivity instructions are adhered to.
- Ensure security of facilities during designated shift hours
- Enforce all safety and processing procedures to new employees.
- Enable effective communications.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Manufacture and pack products as necessary
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
- Keep equipment and facilities in good condition to work.
- TEAMWORK : Works with peers to achieve common goals.
- EQUIPMENT : Responsible for optimum performance related to equipment.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to work an off shift and weekends, although hours and shifts can change based on business needs.
- Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior factory experience is a plus.
- Must be able to read and understand instructions and possess basic arithmetic skills.
- Must be able to stand for duration of shifts (8-12 hrs.).
- May be required to work a flexible schedule.
