Job Description
The Lee Group’s recruitment and staffing team is currently hiring for Experienced Assistant Association Manager in Newport News, Virginia
The pay rate for the Assistant Association Manager is $22.00 per hour
• 37-1/2 hours
Key duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Association Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage a portfolio of HOAs and Condo Associations.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Review financial statements, prepare budgets and create monthly reports.
- Negotiate with contractors, resolve complaints of homeowners, communicate with and take directions from the Board of Directors, complete actions from each community in a timely manner.
- Assist the Board and owners in complying with association and governing documents.
- Attend evening meetings, as required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of portfolio management experience is a plus.
- Ambitious and self-starter, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude, reliable transportation, ability to learn new software (Yardi software).
- Preferred certifications: CMCA and AMS.
Requirements of the Assistant Association Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- 1+ years of work experience in Customer Service
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Familiar with the POA and condo Act and/or any other State and Federal legislation
