Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate assistant baker to join our team. As an assistant baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and freshness, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products.
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards in taste, appearance, and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Package baked goods for display or sale while ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill customer orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives, while following all safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A passion for cooking and baking with an eagerness to learn new skills within the food industry.
