Our assistant department sales manager is responsible for assisting in achieving sales/operational results through hiring, training, goal setting, decision-making, and supervising employees within department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
assist the Department Manager in the following functions as needed:
1. Recruit, interview and select employees while mirroring the community we serve.
2. Supervise, direct, set goals and delegate tasks of employees in department using independent judgment.
3. Create and alter weekly scheduled shifts for employees in department while controlling payroll costs.
4. Arrange for ongoing training and communication with all employees working within your area.
5. Prepare trainee(s) for a management position.
6. Cultivate growth through the cross-development of high potential employees.
7. Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes.
