Job Description

JOB TITLE – Regional Assistant

SCOPE & PURPOSE

Under the daily direction of the Regional Directors, and the Executive Committee, the Regional Assistant will administratively aide the Regional Directors in their day-to-day oversight of the properties.

Salary Range - $90,000.00 - $95,000.00

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with the regionals in assessing their needs.
  • Gathering needed information for owners, asset managers, compliance agencies, etc.
  • Review Weekly Status reports, and delinquency reports
  • Return phone calls to Residents, as needed, and attempt to assist in solving issues
  • Assist in assembling Replacement Reserve Requests
  • Gathering needed budget information
  • Reviewing monthly financial reports from site managers
  • Respond to Vendor requests, and research outstanding invoices
  • Organize and keep up to date the Contracts on the “S” drive for all the properties
  • Assist with scheduling preventative maintenance inspections and maintaining records with on-site staff.
  • Assist with the oversight of Personal Care, Meal Service and possible Assisted Living.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have some knowledge of the property management industry.
  • Must be computer savvy (Excel knowledge a must).
  • Property Management software knowledge and the ability to navigate (Boston Post experience helpful, but not necessary).
  • Experience reading and understanding management reports (rent rolls, aging reports, financial statements, and budgets).
  • Must be a problem solver and have good customer service skills.
  • These positions require a lot of interaction with team members working in the field, and with our residents. Good organizational skills also needed.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Experience in housing with services, such as food or care for the residents is a plus.
