Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our students, and will play a vital role in our school's mission to deliver high-quality education. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with young children and has a strong commitment to their development.

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students, including those with special needs.
- Support the lead teacher in creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Help with classroom management, including supervising students during activities and maintaining a positive and respectful tone.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help with literacy education and math.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to ensure that all materials and resources are available and utilized effectively.
- Assist with preparing materials and resources for lessons and activities.
- Support the lead teacher in monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Help to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Skills:
- Experience in early childhood education or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Experience caring for toddlers and ability to adapt to changing classroom dynamics.
- Knowledge of child welfare principles and ability to create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Ability to educate children using engaging and interactive methods.
- Experience with Montessori teaching methods.
- Proven experience in providing high-quality literacy education and math support to young children.
- Excellent classroom management skills and ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- A commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting the development of young children.

Job Type: Full-time
