**Job Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and the ability to provide exceptional legal services to our clients. This role will involve assisting senior attorneys in preparing for trials, conducting legal research, and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. **Responsibilities** - Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal databases to stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations - Assist in preparing for trials by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing case files - Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for various types of cases, including family law, personal injury law, and workers' compensation law - Negotiate with opposing counsel on behalf of clients - Provide support in immigration law cases, including preparing and filing petitions and applications - Assist in patent law cases, including conducting patent searches and preparing patent applications - Maintain accurate and organized records of case files, legal research, and correspondence - Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management - Provide exceptional client service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times **Experience** - A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the position is located - Experience in a law office or law firm, preferably in a litigation or transactional role - Familiarity with Westlaw and other legal research databases - Strong writing and communication skills - Ability to negotiate effectively and build strong relationships with clients and opposing counsel - Experience with family law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, immigration law, and patent law - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Strong organizational and time management skills We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
