Job Description
Trinity Washington University seeks an experienced, Associate Director of Data Management. Position Overview:
The Associate Director of Data Management will be a key member of the admissions team who understands the admissions and enrollment process. This individual needs to be highly passionate about data analytics that will support the strategic goals of the institution by leading data-driven initiatives within the Admissions Department. This position will oversee data as it relates to collection, storage and analysis ensuring leadership has the necessary insights needed to make informed decisions that advance the university’s goals throughout the enrollment cycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Master’s Degree, preferred
- 5+ years of data analytics and systems experience with Admissions Management.
- 5+ years of experience with CRM platforms or student systems.
- Proficiency in statistical software and modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated competency synthesizing qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- 5+ years of experience in higher education and/or university admissions.
- 5+ years of technical experience and proven data analytic skills.
- Considerable knowledge of CRM administration and system processes.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and render on a timely basis, official admissions’ reports and provide ad-hoc data and analyses to the Admissions Management team and University leadership.
- Apply statistical analysis, data mining and predictive modeling to drive growth and inform decisions related to admissions and enrollment management.
- Work collaboratively with data team on data entry responsibilities and support the recruitment staff on training and cursory review of data entries.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity with information entered and stored in the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
- Work collaboratively with leadership and admissions management team to optimize recruitment, admissions, as well as financial plans and targets.
- Strategize effective data tracking, data analytics and reporting on key program-related performance outcomes/metrics in close partnership with senior leadership and admissions management team.
- Develop strategies for data improvement and enhancing data.
- Analyze application data to help optimize admissions decisions.
