The Associate Director of Quality Investigations provides strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the deviation investigations process. This role involves managing a dedicated team responsible for conducting thorough investigations into deviations and identifying trends. This role is responsible for how the department develops, implements, and maintains investigation procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. The Associate Director will initiate processes to ensure robust and timely investigations are executed according to procedures. Key responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and training staff on investigation techniques and methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence. Additionally, the Associate Director of Quality Investigations will act as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring that investigators receive comprehensive training across various departments. This role guarantees the consistent application of best practices and contributes significantly to the overall success of the site's quality management system.

The essential physical demands will vary for each Curia position.
All positions may require regular or occasional lifting, pushing and pulling up to 10 pounds, frequently; up to 25 pounds occasionally; and up to 50 pounds infrequently. Additionally, all positions entail regular sitting, standing and reaching, with some roles requiring prolonged periods of time for each activity. Visual acuity, both close and distant, along with depth perception is necessary in each role, with or without corrective lenses. Please note that employees are prohibited from wearing contact lenses in work areas with exposure to cleaning agents. Hand and finger dexterity are integral to all positions, with specific activities varying from typing to manipulating maintenance tools or operating keypads, switches, and buttons. Occasional stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching, crawling and balancing are also part of each position's physical requirements. Certain roles may involve climbing and working at elevated heights as well.
