Independent Branch Associate Financial Consultants are not employees of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.; they are employees of the Independent Branch Leader and are Registered Representatives and Associated Persons of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

The Schwab Independent Branch in Flemington, NJ is looking for an Independent Branch Associate Financial Consultant with a passion for serving clients.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

· Independent Branch Associate Financial Consultants help grow the profile and business of the Schwab Independent Branch by supporting the Independent Branch Leader through a variety of activities.

· At the direction of the Independent Branch Leader, Associate Financial Consultants help deepen relationships with existing Schwab clients by providing outstanding service, as well as appropriate investment guidance and advice based on client needs

· Identify and refer additional opportunities to the Independent Branch Leader

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

Required minimum skills and qualifications:

· Active and valid FINRA Series 7 (may be obtained within 30 days of starting in the AFC role)

· Active and valid Series 66 (or 63/65) license (may be obtained within 90 days of starting in the AFC role)

· Active or valid insurance license (may be obtained within 6 months of starting in AFC role)

In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following preferred qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree

· Minimum of two years of business experience preferably in the financial services industry

· Strong client relationship building experience

· Knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services

HOURS & COMPENSATION

This is a full-time position

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm

Base Salary, Bonus Opportunity, 401k and Profit Sharing

Pay will be commensurate with experience.
