The Opportunity:

Avantor, a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for a dedicated Associate Program Manager to optimize our Avantor Quality Strategic Programs organization. This Northeast USA role is full-time, remote.

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience (3+ yrs.)

  • Project management: preferably in the Life Science field focused on Quality and regulated industry compliance.
  • Gated project/program management. 
  • Handling multiple projects and tasks while producing timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Managing projects and programs to conclusion
  • Project Management training
  • Quality
  • In a regulated industry within the chemical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry(s)
  • Working in a regulated environment including GMP regulations, ISO9000 and/or regulatory affairs.
  • Systems/ software applications
  • Regulations including cGMPs, ISO, FDA requirements such as 210/211 Part 11 and regulatory needs.
  • Analytical/and problem-solving skills
  • Business level verbal and written communications
  • Working in a matrixed environment
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prioritization/ organization task management skills
  • Project Management certifications
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Leadership capability: plan and adjust team resources across the lifecycle of a project.
  • Interpersonal and people management skills to ensure effective teaming/collaboration across the project team.
  • Leading and motivating team members to foster collaboration.
  • Interacting / obtaining visibility/buy-in across a organization.
  • Providing cross-functional project leadership
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration across teams to achieve program directives.
  • Collaboration skills (IE: Microsoft Office)
  • Prioritizing functions that ensure on time completion of required tasks while managing time effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining the global stability program and drive improvements across the network. 

Travel:

  • Up to 30% (domestic)

How you will thrive and make an impact:

The Associate Program Manager will work closely with members of the Corporate and site Quality teams as well as manufacturing, technical, engineering and commercial functions. The Associate Program Manager will be accountable for a portfolio of projects in support of Avantor’s growth initiatives; to include projects that involve new production or testing capacity, product transfers, customer qualification & support, internal process improvements and compliance related programs. This role will be responsible for coordinating internal resources and/or third parties/vendors for the development, planning and execution of projects in their portfolio – on time, within scope, within budget to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as cGMPs, ICHQ7, IPEC guidelines, ISO regulations as well as FDA requirements.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$75,000.00 - $124,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
