Job Description

The Auto Retail Data & Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting the strategic initiatives and operations within the auto retail sector through the integration of data, platform management, IT and security, and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement technology solutions that enhance business processes and support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Data and Platform Management:
  • Implement solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the integration and management of data across various platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

IT Strategy and Management:
  • Develop and maintain an IT roadmap for auto retail operations in collaboration with TIS/Digital Strategy.
  • Align IT initiatives with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage Auto Retail related IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.

Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure IT systems and platforms comply with relevant security standards and regulations in partnership with TIS/Digital Strategy
  • Implement measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

Performance Measurement:
  • Provide data and monitor KPIs to evaluate the performance of retail solutions.
  • Use data analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive innovation.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
  • Work closely with business unit managers to understand their technology needs and challenges.
  • Facilitate effective communication between IT and business units.
  • Provide regular updates on IT projects and initiatives to stakeholders.

IT Management Collaboration:
  • Partner with TIS to develop and execute the auto retail IT roadmap.
  • Ensure alignment of IT strategies with retail operations.
  • Collaborate with TIS to optimize IT infrastructure and applications for retail operations.

Autonomous Project Management:
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Manage project risks and issues independently, implementing corrective actions to ensure project success.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in IT project management, systems analysis, or related field.
  • Experience in auto retail or a similar industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing IT projects.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • PMP, ITIL or relevant certification/education preferred
  • Sec+ or CompTIA Security+ preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, Tableau, and visualization tools.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, AWS, Power BI, and MS Office
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to use AI/ML tools
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
