Job Description:

BMW of Bridgewater is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Automotive Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is positive and efficient. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Answering Service Phones: Professionally and promptly answer dealership service phones, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude.

- Customer Interaction: Greet and receive service customers warmly, assess their needs, and effectively communicate those needs to the service advisors.

- Cash Handling: Handle customer payments, process transactions accurately, and provide customers with proper receipts.

- Customer Assistance: Direct customers to the appropriate department, notify the relevant service/client advisor of their arrival.

- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the entire service and sales team to ensure smooth customer service operations and maintain a positive work environment.

- Administrative Tasks: Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as required. Assist in scheduling and confirming service appointments to optimize service center workflow.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel) and the ability to learn dealership software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
