**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Oliver Ford of Bennington, VT. The Service Advisor is a critical role that plays a vital part in our customers' experience, ensuring that their vehicle is serviced and maintained to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-oriented individual who is passionate about the automotive industry and is eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We offer 4 day work weeks and 3 weeks vacation the first year
**Duties**
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to emails in a timely manner.
- Greet customers upon arrival and ensure that their vehicle is treated with the utmost care.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports to customers, including any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Work closely with our Service Technicians to diagnose and repair vehicle issues, providing a comprehensive overview of the work performed.
- Ensure that all services and repairs are performed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Manage cash handling and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and secure.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine oil changes and tire services, as well as brake repairs and shock and strut replacements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and best practices, continuously improving service quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all vehicle maintenance procedures and requirements.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role, with a strong background in automotive sales and service.
- Prior experience working in a dealership or a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, including brake repair and tire service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, Service Technicians, and management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Skills**
- Sales experience and skills.
- Strong knowledge of brake repair and tire service.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to handle cash transactions.

Pay: $65,229.00 - $120,000.00 per year
