The Willows Event Center is looking for an experienced banquet chef. We are looking for someone who is motivated, passionate, clean, neat and organized. This person would need to be self-motivated, have the ability to plan and prepare for future events. We have a state-of-the-art Alto Shaam Banqueting system to help this individual be successful in our banqueting ventures. The new banqueting menu will be built around the Alto Shaam Banqueting System because or goal is easy of execution. We need our candidate to have an open availability as events can be sporadic and pop up out of no where.
Duties:
- Manage all Culinary Banquet staff
- Assist Restaurant Chef in tandem Food Safety and Normal Kitchen Duties ( Managing staff, keeping coolers clean, Filling out cooling charts/Temperature Logs, etc)
- Create Orders/ update order guides/ work with vendors
- Planning, Preparation and Execution of all Banquet Events
- Stay ahead of the Events ( BE PLANNED , PREPPED AND READY TO GO DAYS BEFORE EVENTS)
- report directly to Director of Culinary
- Grow, Teach, Learn and Honestly have fun kitchens are rough and can be stressful and if someone cannot stay positive and focus on the goals and the good in what we do will not survive as this job is relatively thankless
