Bartender/ Server:

What knowledge, skills and abilities do I need to have? (the must-haves)

Previous experience with tray service. Current food and liquor card at time of interview. Passion for above and beyond customer service and creating Signature moments for our guests. "icare,ican" attitude. Work hours/days will vary and must be available weekends.

• Ability to make change quickly and accurately.
• Food service experience
• Ability to multi-task, follow through and re-prioritize well to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives, agencies, and Red Lion guests.
• Ability to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with others.

What are the essential functions?

• Market, sell, and serve all meal items.
• Display working knowledge of all menu items and prices.
• Complete side work.
• Relay the order to the kitchen.
• Observe diners to fulfill any additional requests.
• Calculate the bill and accept payment or refer the guest to the Cashier.
• Show them you CAN, show them you CARE;
• Have passion for service; like taking care of others; and provide that friendly above and beyond service to Your customers
