**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced bartender to join our dynamic team in a bar/casual dining environment. This is a temporary position with the potential to remain on staff as an on-call employee. In addition to the hourly rate, shared tips will be received. One of our main bartenders will be on vacation from 9/10-10/16, so we are in need of someone to help cover his shifts while he is gone.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for delivering exceptional customer service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks and food to guests, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

**Duties:**

- Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and specifications

- Manage cash register and operate a point-of-sale system

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including equipment and supplies

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner

- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

**Experience:**

- Previous experience in a bartending

- Proven experience in bar/dining environments

- Familiarity with cash register systems and basic math

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
