Overview:

Here at the Four Points by Sheraton, Farm A Sea Bistro we are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bartender/Server. This position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience during breakfast and evening hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, cocktails, and wine

- Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system promptly

- Ensure all beverages are prepared to the highest standard of quality and consistency

- Engage with guests to recommend menu items and upsell promotions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in bartending or serving preferred

- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and ingredients

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service

- Flexible availability, including early mornings and evenings

- Bartender certifications or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Lift and carry trays of beverages and glassware weighing up to 25 pounds

- Bend, stoop, and reach to perform various tasks
