As an ABA Therapist at Lumen, your primary responsibility is to implement the direct care services of ABA therapy under the ongoing supervision of their Supervising Clinician. Direct care services include the implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, including:

• Providing direct care services to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy format as directed by the Supervising Clinician and individual client treatment plan
• Collecting and recording data on client behavior
• Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff
• Maintain strict client confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for client and family
• Support the maintenance of cleanly center environment
• Attend regular consultation/meetings with Supervising Clinician to review client objectives/goals, assess client progress, and implement necessary changes to ensure success
• Attend clinic or payor required ongoing trainings to advance clinical practice & professional development
• Provide assistance with additional clinical and/or administrative duties as delegated

Position Requirements:

• Schedule: 30 or more hours per week. Looking for candidates who have evening and weekend availability (At least 3 nights per week until 7pm and Saturdays from 9am - 3pm)
• High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or some college preferred
• Must have or be willing to complete the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential requirements within time frame set forth by BACB and Lumen Pediatric Therapy
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to achieve certification
• Ability to provide negative TB test results
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, squat, bend, push/pull 50 pounds as needed for therapy services

Work Environment / Service Hours:

• Lumen Pediatric Therapy is a center-based clinical model which supports skill generalization across additional environments (e.g. home, school, or community) as specified by treatment plan and pre-approved by family, Supervision Clinician, & Lumen Pediatric Therapy
• ABA Therapists will provide services across clients and treatment teams based on individual client needs and service times/locations
• Work hours will be based upon individual client treatment plan and clinic hours; In the event of session cancelation, therapist will work in conjunction with Supervision Clinician and family to make up hours based on relevant payor guidelines
• Our center is open from Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 7:00pm and Saturdays from 8:30am - 3:00pm. We are looking for team members who are available at least 3 days per week until 7pm.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
