Job Description

Expectations & Progression Plan Details includes:

  • Must have a full ~40 hour availability that includes either Opening shifts (5:30am-2pm) or Transition and Dinner shifts (2pm-11pm). Availability cannot be changed until the full two month training progression plan has concluded and the position is decided upon after thorough assessment.
  • A follow up interview with the Director of Operations will take place prior to the job offer.
  • Leadership Applicants will be evaluated at the end of their two month provisionary period at which point the Director of Operations will assess:

Leadership's ability to be proficient in positions directly associated with operation.

Their capability in leading and training (where necessary) the Team.

Being emotionally intelligent in regards to assessing critical situations.

Overall a good fit for the culture of Chick-fil-A CKM.


Layout of Progression Plan:

Week 1 - Training Front Counter

Week 2 - Training Front Counter

Week 3 - Acclimation Period: Feedback meeting with Directors

Week 4 - Gain endorsements from Managers/Directors - Shadowing Phase, Assessment & HEARD Model begins

Week 5 - Leadership Training (Phases I & II) - Feedback meeting with Directors

Week 6 - Leadership Training (Phases I & II) - Hospitality & Operations Certified Training

Week 7 - Leadership Training Phase III - Back of House Cross Training + Feedback meeting with Directors

Week 8 - Final Evaluation from Directors with Assessment if fit to proceed to Phase IV


Leadership Applicants must understand the highly competitive nature of this position and process. The Final Evaluation at the end of the training period will assess if Leader in Training is fit to continue path of Leadership. If not, applicants should expect separation if unwilling to stay on as an entry-level Team Member.

At CKM Restaurants, the focus has always been fresh and simple ingredients.
