Volt is immediately hiring a Benefits Specialist in Orlando, FL
As a Benefits Specialist, you will:

• Person will be doing Verification of Benefits in the Appeals process for prior authorization / denials / exceptions, etc.
• Lots of paperwork and phone calls.
• Utilizes a database to retrieve customer or company information.
• Contacts insurance companies to verify insurance benefits; initiates pre-authorization requests for new and ongoing services with insurance companies and performs follow up activities for an outcome.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Person MUST come with 1 year of experience and knowledge in Veteran Affairs, Worker Compensation, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, PPO and Prior Authorization Appeals.
• Understanding of Medicare rules and regulations

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.
Pay Rate: $16- $17.80 per hour.

• The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
