Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and culturally sensitive Bilingual Marketing Associate to lead outreach and recruitment efforts targeting migrant worker communities for our homecare services. The ideal candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies, establish community partnerships, and communicate effectively with non-English speaking communities to support our hiring initiatives. This role requires fluency in Spanish/Portuguese/Vietnamese/Haitian Creole, and English, as well as a deep understanding of cultural nuances to create inclusive, impactful messaging and outreach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Recruitment Campaigns:
    • Create and implement bilingual marketing campaigns aimed at attracting migrant workers to join our caregiving team.
    • Design bilingual flyers, social media content, and job postings, ensuring messaging is culturally appropriate.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Build relationships with local migrant advocacy groups, community centers, cultural organizations, and faith-based institutions to promote job openings.
    • Organize and attend job fairs, community events, and information sessions in migrant communities to raise awareness of employment opportunities.
  • Multilingual Communication:
    • Serve as a point of contact for non-English speaking applicants, providing assistance throughout the hiring process.
    • Translate recruitment materials, presentations, and web content, ensuring clarity and cultural relevance.
  • Social Media and Digital Outreach:
    • Manage and grow our presence on social media platforms commonly used by migrant communities (e.g., Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat).
    • Develop targeted ad campaigns and organic content to drive recruitment efforts.
  • Referral Program Management:
    • Promote and manage employee referral programs within migrant communities to encourage current employees to refer friends and family.
  • Marketing Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and outreach efforts.
    • Provide regular reports to the Director on progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Cultural Sensitivity Training:
    • Collaborate with the HR department to offer cultural sensitivity training to internal staff, fostering a more inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and one of these languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, or Haitian Creole) is required.
  • Experience in marketing, community outreach, or recruitment.
  • Familiarity with migrant worker communities and cultural nuances.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat) for outreach and marketing.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate ideas effectively across languages and cultures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Event planning experience is a plus.
