Since 1858, the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley has been an integral part of the Quad Cities area. As one of the fastest growing YMCA associations in the Midwest, we have 7 branches, numerous child care locations and Camp Abe Lincoln. The Quad Cities area, on the Mississippi River, is home to a more than 27,000 businesses including John Deere World Headquarters, Alcoa, Kraft, Exelon and a major military installation - the Rock Island Arsenal. Your Role: As the Branch Executive, you will be the driving force behind the success of our YMCA branches. You'll lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional programs and services that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership: Inspiring and guiding a team to achieve our mission and vision.
  • Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and members to foster collaboration and support.
  • Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring financial sustainability, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Fundraising: Strengthen the community through fundraising efforts to further our mission that the YMCA is for all.
  • Program Management: Oversee programs that meet the evolving needs of our diverse community.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated board/volunteer development.
  • Established fundraising experience.
  • Prior experience with staff supervision and development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or business related field required.
  • Prior YMCA membership management and customer service preferred.
  • Ability to create and grow solid relationships and collaborations within the community.
  • Demonstrated skill in all areas of operational management, non-profit management preferred.
  • Able to respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in emergency situations

SALARY: $63,000 - $67,000 annually
