The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving daily breakfast bar, greeting each guest and ensuring the guests’ are comfortable and overall satisfied.

• Providing personalized service to all guests
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar or evening social bar as required by brand standards
• Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates
• Stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers
• Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand
• Wiping up spills
• Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
• Returning reusable food supplies to storage
• Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors

· Continually expand knowledge of local attractions, popular culture, and consumer brands relevant for Residence Inn guests.

· Stay up-to-date on the local area, including unique attributes, happenings and offerings, so that you are prepared to provide specific recommendations for guests

· Build and use personal and professional resources to offer unique recommendations.

· Communicate recommendations in a way that builds excitement and interest among guests and ambassadors.

· Other and all duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by manager

Guest Relations

Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.

• Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Assist other ambassadors to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
• Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.

Working with Others

• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other ambassadors and departments.
• Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.

Closing

• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
• Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.

Physical Tasks

• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
