Position: School Bus Monitor $15.25 Per Hour

Location: Alpha School Bus, 4702 Midlothian Turnpike, Crestwood IL Walk-ins are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly environment on the bus.

Ensure students board and exit the bus safely.

Monitor student behavior and address any issues promptly and appropriately.

Assist students with special needs as necessary.

Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation department personnel.

Perform daily safety checks and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

A passion for working with children and ensuring their safety.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.

Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
