Express is seeking a Business Analyst II for a local Insurance company.

Job Summary: Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducting requirements gathering and defining scope and objectives for work efforts integrating with business processes/data and IT infrastructure.

• Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes.
• Research business requirements, develops detailed specifications, and validates the solutions with business stakeholders.
• Communicates business stakeholder needs to the development team by translating business requirements.
• Owns the development, with IT support, of tools, applications, reports, and analytics to enable strategic programs and metrics for the department.
• Troubleshoots technical issues and works through a resolution (root cause analysis).
• May coordinate user acceptance testing and related test activities.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline or related field of study; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Experience: 3 years as a Business Analyst, or related experience
