Your Job

The Business System Analyst will provide functional support to business users for the CPG Digital Asset Management (DAM) application and other business systems they support. Analyst will work to understand business processes, determine, and build requirements for future enhancements and answer user community questions concerning DAM application functionality. This role works closely with brand marketing, category, third party agencies, technology, and product management teams in maintaining the quality of functionality, and the clarity of information and flow all with the underlying goal of reinforcing asset management best practices for Georgia-Pacific teams.

Our Team

This role sits within the Data Governance capability within Consumer Products Group of Georgia-Pacific. Creative Services, Content Syndication/Operations, and Systems IT teams are a few of the main teams that this role will interact with.

What You Will Do

DAM & Product Catalog Strategy, Governance & Reporting

  • Researches and recommends best practices and processes for effective Digital asset management and associated platforms.
  • Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the Product catalog & DAM applications and associated procedures documenting all points of weakness with suggestions for areas of improvement for review with the business teams.

System, User, & Process Support

  • Responsible for user support of the platforms by answering user questions, troubleshooting, and resolving for standard user issues.
  • Registers internal users and external users to the DAM system based on permissions.

System Support

  • Lead and participate in requirement gathering and issue resolution meetings with technical and business resources.
  • Execute and validate system changes with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
  • Understand and optimize metadata schemas and standards for the creation, description, preservation, and access of digital assets.

Training & Documentation

  • Maintain documentation for all support and issue resolution tasks associated with support of the applications.
  • Assists and trains end users and content providers on the correct asset management process and procedures.

  • A successful candidate will possess strong aptitude and intellectual curiosity in using technology, planning, project management, and communication skills, in addition to an eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities under tight schedules.
  • The individual must work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity in implementing and managing business systems.
  • Experience with the Opentext DAM.
