Position Overview: Are you a passionate and experienced sales professional with a background in accounting and finance staffing? Are you an accounting and finance professional with a desire to branch out and help companies find talented candidates? We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our commercial team. This role is critical in expanding our client base and driving growth through the development of new professional relationships and contract staffing opportunities in the accounting and finance sectors.

Role Overview: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will be instrumental in cultivating new business relationships and growing S.R.G.’s client base. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining connections with potential clients in the accounting and finance industries, understanding their staffing needs, and converting them into long-term partnerships. You will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and the commercial recruiting team to meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate New Business: Identify, engage, and convert new prospects into clients, with a focus on accounting and finance staffing. Drive the acquisition of new contract staffing opportunities, meeting your quarterly and annual quotas.

Client Engagement: Develop and present tailored staffing solutions to address the specific needs of potential clients in the accounting and finance sectors, demonstrating how our services can save them time and money.

Collaboration: Partner with the Managing Director to refine strategies and ensure alignment with broader business goals. Work with external Talent Acquisition associates and Managers to uncover new opportunities within existing accounts.

Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with partners to design and deliver innovative staffing solutions that meet client needs and enhance our value proposition.

Market Insights: Provide valuable insights on customer needs, sales trends, and market conditions to the recruiting team, informing strategic decisions and planning.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience: Proven track record in business development with a strong focus on accounting and finance staffing sales, or a proven track record of increased responsibility in your field. Experience in establishing and nurturing professional relationships.

Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey our value proposition and align client needs with our services.

Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with a passion for client relations and a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.

Prospecting Ability: Demonstrated experience in engaging prospects, and assessing needs.

Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
