As an Office Assistant at Edgewood, you would be responsible for ensuring efficient business office functions related to the administration of all employment related practices with a focus on onboarding and retention efforts as well as payroll, HR and risk management. Job duties include answering telephones, greeting and directing visitors, answer routine inquiries, assist in new hire orientation and perform HR-related duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Practical knowledge of HR/Payroll procedures, Accounting/bookkeeping policies and systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness is necessary.
  • Work closely with local employee recruiter from interview to onboarding.
  • Can perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Passion and drive for helping others.
  • Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related area is a plus.
  • A desire to continue learning and improving your skillset
