Objectives: Interact with guests by providing a warm, friendly greeting. Build connections with guests by inquiring about their needs and expectations. Proactively maintain table readiness in the dining room by quickly and efficiently cleaning and resetting tables as guests leave. Maintain side stations by continually restocking items.
Essential job functions:
- Treat all guests, team members, and managers with dignity and respect.
- Display a helpful, friendly, and approachable attitude towards guests, team members and managers.
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner to make them feel welcome and appreciated.
- Bus all table quickly and efficiently to ensure dining room cleanliness and table readiness.
- Remain attentive to guest's needs by providing refills and pre-bussing throughout guest's dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers.
- Maintain side stations by restocking items to ensure 100% guest delight.
- Display a sense of urgency to maintain a clean and guest ready dining room and restroom.
- Complete assigned side work before, during, and after shift.
- Assist with putting food on trays and delivering food to guests.
- Assist with ensuring we always have perfectly baked bread sticks in abundance available for guests.
- Adhere to and practice all food safety and sanitation standards, local (or applicable) laws and Olive Garden Guidelines.
