ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.

We are accepting applications for a part-time permanent Campground Coordinator 1 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Wolf Run State Park, assigned to Noble county. **This is a permanent part-time position budgeted for 1500 hour per fiscal year (approximately 28 hours per week). This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.**

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate campground operations at Wolf Run State Park.
  • Coordinate retail operations.
  • Assist park & campground visitors with disputes, questions, inquiries.
  • Interact daily with a variety of customer who utilize the park & watercraft facilities.
  • Starting hourly pay of $19.99/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 6 years of service, with an end salary of $23.49/hr.

Qualifications

Formal education in arithmetic that includes multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in first aid techniques; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation & maintenance of park equipment & vehicles; valid driver's license.

  • Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.
